Hello OWAIC. I'm a new (self-published) Author with two completed Children's Fiction books and one Y/A novel on the way. I have been to a few OWAIC sponsored events/meetings in the past and hope to attend more. Writing for me has been more-or-less a hobby but I'm hoping to eventually take it to the next level. Most of what I write contains a Christian world view or at least a good moral to the story. This comes from my years of helping with children/youth at church. I'm looking forward to attending my first Author's Fair in Lebanon in a few weeks.
Hi. I have been interested in writing for children. I have taught preschool for 7 yrs. I have an over load of ideas and experiences to write about. I am planning to attend session. Is this the first?
I am a professor at Evangel University. I teach creative writing as well as direct the composition program. I've been interested in children's literature for many years and have written 2 novels, though neither has been published. After many years of doing other things, now I'm writing another book for children. I just found out through a colleague, Tim Rohde, about your organization. I will try to come to the next meeting.
